Message from the PTA President, Michelle Petersen:
Welcome new and returning families to Alamo Elementary School!  We are so happy to have you all in our small but mighty school.  We know this year is especially difficult given the situation we find ourselves in, but rest assured we are here for you.  We are so thankful for our Principal, our staff, our teachers, our para educators, our students and our parents who collectively make Alamo Elementary School such an incredible place for children to begin their educational journey.  Your PTA is working even harder to foster a feeling of community in these important times.  Your generous donations to the PTA are helping us purchase computer monitors and adaptors for every classroom to make the remote learning experience a better one for us all.  I know this time is hard, but please try to remember we are truly in this all together- our challenges are all unique but collectively we are all navigating the same thing- a virus that is wreaking havoc on what we know as our daily lives.  We will get through this and you are not alone!  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions or concerns,
Thank you our amazing community for your valued support.

Important Dates

POSTPONED - Wednesday, December 16 @ 6:30: Principal Chat with Mrs. Salazar and teachers Mr. Crotti and Ms. Angeletopoulos. Zoom details here. (Please note, the December 6 meeting was cancelled.)

Tuesday, December 15: SRVUSD Board of Education Meeting. Watch the meeting on its YouTube Channel here.

If you have not already, please donate to the Alamo Elementary School PTA Sister School Warm Meal and Toy Drive. Thanks to our community generosity, we have raised enough money for 50 warm meals to go DIRECTLY to Dover Elementary foster students and homeless youth. We are a quarter of the way to our goal. YOU can help us put a warm meal on their tables.  Visit the futurefund storefront here to donate - $15 provides a warm meal and $5 provides a toy.  You can also help by dropping off unwrapped toys for these families- a collection bin is located outside the school office. Thank you Bar Mizne and Christina Heil for making this drive happen. Email for more information.  Drive ends December 14.
